New beginnings

Today we began something new – a baby and toddler group at St Michael’s.  I guess I was really apprehensive as to whether anyone would turn up, but in the end we had about 13 or 14 little ones in the hall area, and it was lovely to see the building being used in this way. We’re still learning – we were geared up more for 2-3 year olds, and we are going to get some soft furnishings and toys for the babies this week. But it looks like we might be starting something here, and we hope that our vision to serve the community will in the long run bear fruit.

And as a complete aside, I saw six redwing feeding in the church garden during the morning. Had never seen so many before – they are really beautiful birds. God is good!
